Bartenbach is the Austrian leader in road markings and temporary traffic control with over 50 employees spread across 3 locations in Austria.
The company was founded in 1885 as a paint shop which in its almost 140 years history has expanded to the road marking and road maintenance sector.
AVS Verkehrssicherung is part of the Work Zone Safety Group of Companies (WZSG), a traffic service provider who is present in 12 countries with a total of 4.000 employees.
In 2017, AVS Verkehrssicherung, was acquired by the UK-based private equity fund, Triton Investment Advisers LLP, and has since then acquired 10 additional companies as a result of its Buy & Build strategy in the DACH region.
Sazun GmbH advised Bartenbach Gruppe across all the steps of the transaction up to the final closing.
