Mann+Hummel acquires Jack Filter

Mann+Hummel Jack Filter

We are happy to inform you that we could successfully advise Jack Filter on entering into a partnership with Mann+Hummel (M+H), resulting in a 100% sale of the business. „This acquisition fits in perfectly with our corporate strategy. It gives us the opportunity for further growth in the non-automotive sector“, says M+H CEO, Alfred Weber.

With the acquisition of Jack Filter, Mann+Hummel is expanding its product range primarily in the area of high efficiency particulate air filter filters. The company also has better access to additional HVAC market segments as well as two state-of-the-art production facilities in Austria and Hungary. The managing partner of Jack Filter, Alexander Gaggl, is taking on a management role in the global Intelligent Air Solutions business area at Mann+Hummel.

M+H is a world-leading expert in filtration. The Group, which has its headquarters in Ludwigsburg, develops solutions for cars, industrial applications, clean air in cabins and sustainable water use. In 2016, over 20,000 employees at more than 80 sites generated a turnover of around EUR 3.5 billion.

The Jack Filter Group is based in Carinthia in Austria. It is one of the leading manufacturers of air filters for industrial dust precipitation, as well as ventilation, air-conditioning and clean-room technology.
